About Ventura's

Ventura's is an italian restaurant in Utica, New York. It is listed at 787 Lansing St, Utica, NY 13501, which places it among the local businesses of Utica that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Utica, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30 am–2:30 pm. It is closed on Monday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ventura's at (315) 732-8381; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is venturas-restaurant.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 506 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Utica and suggests consistent service.

Utica is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Utica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had originally left a five star review for this restaurant however after going back this past weekend and getting the porterhouse steak special with shrimp scampi and mushrooms, $71 dinner, waitress never mentioned the price, The waitress marketed the steak is 28 ounces. There is no way on Godβ€˜s green earth This steak was more than 14 or 15 ounces tops. I ordered medium rare. It was overcooked. It was a terrible cut meat extremely grizzly for $71 I would think they would serve a better cut of meat. if I had to see if I would say the mushrooms came out of a can. I ended up with extreme diarrhea for the remainder of the evening, and my wife could barely make it home before she experienced extreme diarrhea as well. We had stuffed mushrooms for appetizer and I will say they were absolutely terrible zero flavor or taste. I ordered a salad with blue cheese and Italian dressing that came no Italian dressing so fine overall I have to say the food is really terrible at this place It was really bad no flavor no taste. The service was good. I will add. I cannot in good conscience go back to this restaurant, the food in my estimation is really bad. The waitress mentioned that it was fine di

I’m a long ago union captain of five star establishments. Ventura’s is the real deal. The service is not only impeccable; the staff has *character*. You have everything you need before you even know you need it. The first page of their menu says it all; the food is served using impeccable ingredients, sprinkled with love and creativity; you can tell, whoever this chef is, this chef gives a shit. And so does the owner. Celebrated four years of marriage here; couldn’t think of a better destination in our area than Ventura’s.

Whenever I drive by Utica, I try to support one of their many awesome spots. I hadn't been to Ventura's in many years, but never forgot how nice the owner was and how good the food was, so I stopped in for lunch. This place has got to be one of the best restaurants in the world, not kidding. It's got the unforgettable '50s Italian American atmosphere, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the food is just epic. First came the garlic bread, accompanied by a dish of olive oil & pesto, to which I added some red pepper flakes - ridiculous melange of flavor. Then the veal parm sandwich with real deal hot peppers, sauce, and perfectly crunchy potato chips. You really can't get better than this. 12 bucks plus tip, in the year 2026, is unheard of. I also had enough left over for dinner. I also bought a jar of sauce to bring home. I chatted with the family for a bit and walked out with what my grandma would call a happy heart. God bless you all, until we meet again.

A fantastic way to celebrate our 19yr anniversary! The food was amazing (as always). Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The price was on point (actually a bit less than expected)! Definitely a place to go if your in the area!

I've been wanting to try this place for years! Finally got the chance to go. Ordered two pasta dishes, chicken dish and a Caesar salad. Out the four orders only one of the pasta dishes was phenomenal! We got the table bread once we were half ways through eating our dinner. Soon after they came and asked to start boxing our food which we were still eating. Once in the car everything leaked out the containers even though they wrapped them with plastic wrap, through the paper bag and onto my floor. The whole experience was not what I was hoping for
